Researchers at the University of California, San Francisco, are conducting a study for people with chronic pain.
The purpose of the research is to test a smartphone-based mindfulness training program.
You may qualify for the study if you meet the following criteria:
-Pain condition that has persisted > 3 months
-Age 18 and above
-Access to an iPhone
Participation benefits include free access to the investigatory smartphone app "Letting Pain Go." This app includes audiovisual mindfulness training and a display of symptom changes.
The study duration is 4 to 8 weeks. Total time requested to use the audiovisual training program is 8 hours, and time estimate for all combined questionnaires is 40-60 minutes.
This study does not require any travel or in-person contact with research staff. All elements of the study are to be completed on your smartphone, at the time of your choosing.
